"Lets get together..."

On Monday, I met some other photographers in the area to exchange head shots and get to know one another better. We met in Ybor and just walked around...there are SO many awesome spots there, its like a treasure chest of fun! So very inspring and it didn't help that I was surrounded by some amazing talent. Erin and Chris came, Stephen Dohring, Jason Angelini, Kerri McConnell, Jamie Hack, Dawn Haas, Elise Schreiner, & Lisa Mendelowitz. I was so nice to shoot alongside them and talk photo with people who fully understand and share my passion.

Dawn brought along three of her coolest friends for us to play with. lol Sarah was such a cool, easygoing girl. And you can see for yourself how gorgeous she was...I thought she was a model...she sure was working it out like one!

Amanda and Jordan were such naturals in front of the camera. Definitely a FUN couple. Willing to do anything and everything for and in front of the camera. They knew how to keep their cool and ignore the 6 cameras pointing at them at one time. I had SO much fun shooting these two...

Thanks everyone, for a ROCKING start to a great week. I am so grateful to have been able to share this experience...we DEFinitely need to get together again in the future! And dont hesitate to call if you ever need anything! Im so happy that we are getting a good network of awesome photographers here in the Tampa Bay Area. : )

What a FUNderful day! This is how it played out:

• I spent some time snuggling with my puppy
• finished up editing some photos of Jason & Katie
• met Kerri for a little trip to Ybor with some cool photographers to do what I love to do most...
• captured life in my camera. (thats what I love to do most...well, other than just being with my Nicholas. I know, barf. lol)
• enjoyed the rare beautiful weather.
• chatted with Kerri some more on the way home
• went out on a date with my main squeeze. WE did what we most love to do together: LAUGH!
• cracked up every five minutes whilst watching "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"
• laughed it up some more on the car ride home, I love this part. the discussion after the fact.

So I VERY highly recommend this movie. Only if you are absolutely a fan of laughing....and can tolerate toilet humor. If you did not appreciate "Superbad" or "The 40 Year old Virgin" Then dont waste your time. and maybe look into getting in touch with your sense of humor. just kidding, I know everyone has different tastes. : )

I just love how real life the characters are. Here is a little clip of one of the funniest scenes. This may be giving a little bit away but its not a big deal since the trailer does it for us up to this part. There are some good tips in this movie on how to make an awkward moment funny, if you ever find yourself in awkwardness:

And if you feel unmotivated to get back in shape (I have actually been feeling very motivated as of late..yay) the ever beautiful Mila Kunis can help you with that. She was just so stunningly gorgeous throughout the entire movie...I couldnt stop thinking, "If I were ever into women..." teeheee

I fell in love with her character. Ever watch a movie or a show and say, "I wanna be friends with her/him!"  I do it quite often. Probably because its hard for me to find good friends. She really rocked this movie, and so did everyone who influenced what her character should be like. Genuine, fun, spontaneous and sweet. Ate it all up. I wanted to hug her so many times.

So go see it, if you have to wait...buy it when it comes out. It is up in our Top ten fave movies of all time.

Clowning around with the Prom Queen...

Meet Megan. Shes the class clown, the prom queen and the coolest girl in town. I had the pleasure of capturing a little bit of her personality down in the heart of Tarpon Springs yesterday. It was SO hard to pick just a few faves, we shot 1013 images and I love every one of them. Megan made it ultra easy for me and I will shut up so you can see for yourself!

I cant stand how much I love this dress on her! Only an awesome girl like her could pull it off.

She has such a beauty about her that just shines inside and out! She just makes it look so easy...

The most perfect find since she was voted the class clown. love it almost as much as I love her laugh!

Thanks Megan and Mama Jen, I had so much FUN! I can NOT wait to see which ones you loved the most and I promise to not make you wait too long for the rest!
